Dorothy Jean Moon Frahm – Obituary

Dorothy Jean Moon Frahm passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017, surrounded by her devoted family. Dot was born in New Hope, Alabama, on February 22, 1930, to David Walker and Ruth Jenkins Moon. For over 30 years, she worked with the United States Army Missile Defense System. Her special hobbies included sewing for family and friends, gardening, and pampering her Maltese, Mollie. Mrs. Frahm was a member of Mayfair Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Betty Sue Moon Kirkland and George Franklin Moon; and her husband, Richard Roy Frahm. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronald Walker Stapler (Nancy) and Gary Moon Stapler (Brenda); grandchildren, Eli, Caroline, and Campbell Stapler, and Grayson and Walker Hudgens; step-grandchildren, Christy Williams and Todd Tielking; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, January 9 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Dr. Gary Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
