Dorothy Jean Maxwell, 87, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Woodmont Baptist Church, Florence, AL. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Chad Hess officiating. Burial will be at Hodges Cemetery, Spencer, TN. She was the wife of Carl Madewell.
