Dorothy Headrick, 87, of Fort Payne, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019. She was born August 10, 1932 to the late Delbert and Julie Maynor Metcalf. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Kirk Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. and Monday from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home.
She is survived by her sons, William Headrick, Jr. and wife, Cindi and Terry Headrick and wife, Janet; chosen daughter, Debbie Dobbins; brother, Delbert Metcalf, Jr.; grandchildren, Darren Headrick, Chanda Bowden, Lisa Headrick, and Jessica Headrick Tidmore; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Headrick; siblings, Lloyd, Monroe, Jim, Peg, Jewel, Pearl, and Grace.
