Funeral Service for Dorothy Gray McCluskey 97 is set for 1:00 pm Monday at McPeters Inc Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.Family will receive Family and Friends will Monday from 12:00 to service time.
Dorothy died May 29, 2028, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born May 13, 1928, in Alcorn Co. MS to the late Noel Herbert Gray and Evelyn Ruth Cotner Gray. She was member of the non-denominational church; she retired from the Daily Corinthian.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Willie James “Shorty” McCluskey; parents; brothers, Junior, Gerald, and Jerry Gray; sisters, Marie Waldrop, Mary Alice Eygabroad.
She is survived by daughters, Linda McCluskey, Pat Porter (Billy); grandchildren, Eric Smith, Joshua Porter (Alice) Jacob Porter (Kathryn) ; great grandchildren, Britton Berry, Makenzie, Camryn. Levi, Annie Lou, and Rose Porter; brother, Larry Gray; sister, Martha Albright; her sister-in-law, Judy McPeters; and host of other family.
