Dorothy E. Copes (nee Palmer) passed away peacefully at Methodist VITAS on January 27, 2022 at the age of 86. She resided in South Philadelphia and Tennessee. She was the beloved wife of the late William Copes, Sr. and devoted mother of Dorothy Bauhof (the late Richard), William Copes, Jr., (Mary Jane), Eddie Copes, and the late Wayne Copes. She was the loving Gram of 17 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Dorothy is also survived by brother, John Palmer (Elizabeth) and is predeceased by her brother Harry Palmer and her parents, Harry and Estelle (nee Capie) Palmer. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing and Funeral, Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from the Rogers Funeral Home, Inc., 1426-30 South 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147 at 9 AM followed by her Religious Services at 11 AM.
