Dorothy Credille Hoyle, resident of Guntersville, AL age 80, passed away surrounded by loved ones on the evening of January 16, 2025. Born October 2, 1944, in Belmont, MS. Ms. Hoyle is survived by her 5 children, Cindy Martin, Anthony Baca, Terri Bryant, Jerri Whitehead, and Sabrinia Baca; 2 brothers, Larry and Gary Credille and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ruby and Howard Credille, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and 1 son, Don Sargent.
Loved by all, Dorothy was a woman of God who treasured her family deeply. She enjoyed reading and being a homemaker. Dorothy was a passionate worship singer who shared her voice and love for the Lord with the public through her many performances.
The funeral service will be Sunday, January 19, 2025, 2pm at Carr Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Bartlett officiating. The family will receive friends and family from 1pm until time of service. Pallbearers who will carry Dorothy to her final resting place at Guntersville City Cemetery are Nick Martin, Tristan Baca, Justin Gilbert, Davon Ballow, Tyler Baca and Brett Clark. Honorary pallbearer Max Winkles.
