Dorothy Clark Kimbrough, age 82, Russellville, Ala. passed away on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012.
The visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Ala. prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tommy James and Brother Ronald Sanders officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Leon Kimbrough: an infant son; parents, Joseph and Katie Carpenter Clark; siblings, Roy Clark, Desser Morgan, Velma Sanders, Troy Clark, Ott Clark, Mitchell Clark.
She is survived by her children, Betty (Jerry) Reaves, Kathy (Lester) Taylor, Kerry (Donna) Kimbrough; siblings, Brady Clark, Marie (J.C.) Smallwood; grandchildren, Brad Taylor, Holley (Scott) Pate, Brandi Reaves; great grandchildren, Jonathan Taylor, Douglas Laster Reaves, Ella Pate, Micah Pate; several of nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Faith Church, Florence, Ala. She will be remembered as a loving mother and committed Christian. Her greatest enjoyment throughout life was spending time with family and her Lord Jesus.
