Mrs. Dorothy Burdett, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away after a long decrease in health on June 19, 2014. She was born in Ardmore, Tennessee to Sherman and Trudy Boldin.
Mrs. Burdett is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jerry Wayne Kolle and Robert A. Amos; three husbands, Henry Kolle, Earnest Burdett, and James Green Burdett along with a total of nine brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two sons Edd “Sonny”(Linda) Kolle of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Douglas(Marie) Kolle of Huntsville, Alabama; one daughter, Shirley(Sam) Cox of Easley, South Carolina; ten grandchildren, David Kolle, Marjory “Sissy” Schreiber, Eddie Kolle, Rhonda Pearl, Kimberly Kolle, Allen Kolle, Daniel Kolle, Scott Davis, Danny Davis, and Michelle Davis-Kilpatrick, along with several great grandchildren; one sister Ellen Smith of Chicago, Illinois; one special nephew J.B.(Annie Lou) Cross of Ardmore, Alabama, along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10:00 am in Blanche Cemetery with Pastor Bobby Powell officiating. The family would like to express there deep appreciation to the staff of Diversicare of Big Springs and Amedisyst Hospice Care.
