Funeral services for Ms. Dorothy Blankenship, age 95, are scheduled for 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sand Ridge Cemetery. Ms. Blankenship passed away Saturday in Lexington. She was a member of Luray Baptist Church and retired wife of a Dairy Farmer. Ms. Blankenship was born August 28, 1925 in Henderson County, Tn. to the late Curtis and Sillar Roulette McDaniel. She was preceded in death by- Husband- Alvis Blankenship, one daughter- Carolyn Harston, three sisters- Jean Dodds, Ann Columbus and Carolyn McDaniel; Survivors include three sons- Jim Blankenship (Faye), Larry Blankenship (Brenda) and Bobby Blankenship (Nikki); four daughters- Brenda Potts (James), Linda Stansbury (Steve), Minda Fesmire (Eddie), Kathy Strohn (George), one brother- Billy McDaniel (Inez), two sisters- Mary Lou Baker (Les) and Wanda Feldman, 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and special friend George Foster
