Funeral service for Dorothy Barringer, 94, will be Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barringer died on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Decatur Health & Rehab Center. She was born October 29, 1921, in Morgan County to Delmar Mardis and Lorena Prosser Mardis. She was a self employed – seamtress. She was preceded in death by her husband: John Arthur Barringer, Sr., two sons: Bruce Clayton and John Arthur Barringer, Jr. and her parents.
