Dorothy A. Woodard, age 71 of Jasper, passed away Thursday October 19, 2017. She was 1st Lieutenant in the U. S. Air Force Reserve. She graduated from the Ida V. Moffett School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse for over twenty years.
Funeral service will be Saturday October 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday beginning at 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Juanita Woodard; and a nephew, Jordan Pugh.
She is survived by her sisters, Judy Prisoc (John), Billie Pugh, and Sandra Meachem (Tim); nieces and nephews, Christy, Cassie, Carrie, Johnny, Jeff, Barbie, Bo, and Blake; great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
