Mrs. Dorothea Kootz Schroeder, age 86, of Decatur, died Monday, December 24, 2018, at her residence. She was born March 1, 1932, in Philadelphia, PA to John Kootz and Anna Super Kootz. During her working years she was employed as a bank teller.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathy S. Weaver of Logansport, IN, Elizabeth Schroeder of Indianapolis, IN, and Carol “Krysse” Shifflett of Decatur, AL; and two grandsons, Matthew J. Weaver of Logansport, IN, and Brian C. Weaver of Conroe, TX.
