Doris Walton Hargett, 93, of Florence, AL passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012. She was a native and lifelong resident of Lauderdale Co. and was a member of Parkway Methodist Church. Until about two years ago she worked daily in her business, Auto Electric Service with the able assistance of her loyal employees.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Tri Cities Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Tim Long officiating followed by a memorial service at 11am in the Parkway Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hargett was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Hargett; son, Robert Alan Hargett and sister, Mary Fenn.
Survivors include her son, John David Hargett (Beth); daughter, Martha Lee Jones (John); grandchildren, Jennifer Howard, (Bill), Ashley Claytor (Will), Jed Hargett, Amy Beth Siebert (Kevin) and Adam Hargett (Carly); great-grandchildren, Trey Howard, Slayton Howard, Brennan Howard, Cole Siebert and Aniston Claytor, special brother-in-law, Malcolm Fenn and special nieces, Angie Holt and Janice Peeden.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
