dorisOn April 13, 2016, at 6:45 p.m. our sweet, loving mom, Doris Maranda Conley became our beautiful angel joining her loved ones who went before her. Letting go of you, Mom, was not easy but knowing you are in no more pain helps a little. You will always be with each of us.

Visitation was Friday, April 15, from 6-8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Old Brick Cemetery in Ford City.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Fred M. Conley; mother, Ruby Nicholes; father, Alvin Smith; and siblings, Beckum, Curtis, J. P. and Umphery Smith, and Edgar Nichols.

She is survived by her children, Vicki (Daniel) Wise, Thomas (Tammy) Conley, Sylvia Hammond (Rolando), and Freddie Conley (Melissa); siblings, Hansel and James Smith, Jewel Neil, Carol Franks, and Gladys Mather; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and best friends, Sabrina McGee and Tammy.

We would like to express appreciation to Keller Hospital fourth floor, Keller Hospice, Ann, Therese, Michelle, and all family and friends for the visits and prayers.

Go plant some flowers, Mom, by those streets of gold and rest high on that mountain. There will never be another you. We love you always…your children.
