Mrs. Doris June “Peggy” Jacobs age 88 of McMinnville, TN, died Sunday, December 06, 2020 at her residence. She was born December 11, 1931, in Warren County, TN, and was preceded in death by father Robert Miller McCorkle, mother Georgia Lee Farless Baker, husband Thomas Vernon Jacobs, Jr., daughter Diana Murphy, and grandson Jacob Garrette Haynes. Mrs. Jacobs was a member of Gath Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children Rhonda (Stan) St. Clair, Debra (Dwayne) Hullett, Tammie (David) Haynes, Robert (Michelle) Jacobs, Thomas (Beth) Jacobs, David Jacobs, Bruce Jacobs, and Kevin (Robin) Jacobs, 17 Grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 09, 2020 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Anthony Campbell will officiate. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home. Social distancing and the wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged.
