Doris Jean White, age 81, passed from this life Sunday October 11, 2026 at NHC of McMinnville from a short illness. Doris was born on November 4, 1944 in West Virginia to the late Sherman and Retha Ware Brady. Doris was a homemaker who greatly enjoyed her church, Clarks Chapel Church of God, where she was the piano player and very active with her church family.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband; Larry James White Sr. and her son Larry James White Jr.
Doris is survived by her loving family, daughter; Kathy White, sons; Martin (Melissa) White, Gene McNabb and John (Anya) White, grandchildren; Cassidy Frady, T. J. (Jackie) Frady, Robert White, Anastasia White, Brittany (Matt) Jones, Matthew White and Elizabeth White, great-grandchildren; Emma Jones and Maggie Jones.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday October 18, 2026 at 2:00pm in the Layne Chapel with Bishop Jeff Worrix officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday at 11:00am till time of service at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Clarks Chapel Church of God.
