Funeral services for Doris Jean Newman, 82, of Hanceville, Alabama will be 1 O’clock P.M. Monday, November 2, 2020 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Reverend Jimmy Sawyer will be officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 1, at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Newman is survived by her daughter Kim (Jeff) Brown; grandchildren, Tyler (Britany) Brown, and Justin Brown; great grandchildren, Katelyn Brown, Makayla Brown, and Aaliyah Brown; and a brother, Alvin (Vonda) Patrick.
Mrs. Newman is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Newman; grandson, Grant Brown; and parents, Ransom and Etta Patrick.
