Doris Jean Buffaloe, age 81, of Northport, formerly of Florence, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tollie and Reba Greer.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Joe Paul Buffaloe; her two sons, Richard Buffaloe, of Denver, Colorado, and Bobby (Stephaine) Buffaloe, of Northport, Alabama; her three grandsons, Blake Buffaloe, of Palm Beach, Florida, Corey (Emily) Buffaloe, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and Kyle Buffaloe, of Northport, Alabama; and a great-grandson, William Carver Buffaloe, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. She also is survived by her sister, Jan (Bill) Grisham, and her three nieces Pam Grisham Gregg, Tollie Grisham, and Marcie Greer.
A graveside service will be held today at 11 a.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens, Florence.
