Doris J. Cupps, 78 of Sumiton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday July 11, 2019 at her residence.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Argo Church of God. She was well known for the beautiful quilts she made for many family members and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday July 13, 2019 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ricky Adams and Rev. James Aycox will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday night 5:30-8 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Susie Rowe and her brother, Melton Rowe.
Survivors include her husband Larry Cupps; daughter, Cindy Jones and husband Kerry; son, David Teer and wife Sheila; grandchildren, Ryan Jones, Michelle Whittle and Susanna Teer; two great grandchildren; a brother, Nelson Rowe and wife Dean; a host of other relatives and many friends.
