Doris Faye Patterson, of Moulton, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.A visitation for Doris will be held Friday, April 4, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 741 Danville Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601.
Doris Patterson is survived by her daughter, Darlene Patterson; her sons, Daryl (Stacy) Patterson and Doyle Patterson; her grandchildren, Bryant Sharpley, Clint Patterson, Meggie Mathis, and Karli Patterson; great grandchild, Bonnie Mathis; her brothers Harold (Sarah) Richard and Sammy (Carol) Richard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Patterson; her parents, Woodrow and Alta Richard; her siblings, Junior Richard, Charles Richard, and Audrey Collins.
Doris Patterson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on April 2 at the age of 88. She leaves behind a family who adored her especially her cherished grandchildren who were the light of her life. Doris found joy in life’s simple pleasures tending to her beautiful gardens, and spending evenings playing bingo with friends where her laughter was always the loudest. Her sharp sense of humor would bring a smile to anyone’s face and her kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Doris will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love, laughter, and warmth will live on in the stories shared by those who were lucky enough to know her.
