Mrs. Doris “Chris” Fields, age 88 of Athens, AL passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Fields was born on April 3, 1929 in Clairmont Springs, AL to Gerome and Louise Morrison Johns.
Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Howell Jackson Fields; son, Steve Fields; sister, Leona Crouch and brother, Huey Lee Johns.
She is survived by her son, Tim Fields and wife Teresa; grandchildren, Stephanie Fields, Kelly Fields, Cody Ayers and wife, Ashley Ayers and Christopher Fields; great-grandchildren, Penny Radford, Charles Radford, III, and Charlie Ayers; nephew, Kenny Crouch; niece, Judy Key and sister-in-law, Oleta Johns.
Services for Mrs. Fields will be at 2:00PM Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Doug Hendrix officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:50 prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Tim Fields, Cody Ayers, Doug Hendrix, Kenny Crouch, Roger Key and Steve Stripling.
