Doris C. Smith (nee McKay), age 85 of Cowan formerly of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on September 24, 2020 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a lifelong homemaker. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Jack A. Smith; father, Henry Russell McKay Sr; mother, Florence Anderson McKay; and brother, Henry Russell McKay Jr. She is survived by sons, Jack O. (Frances) Smith of Lebanon and Robert Smith of Cowan; grandchildren, Margurette (Richard) Gast of Portage, Indiana, Oria D. Smith (Nancy) of Lebanon, Lisa Keel of Lebanon, John J. Smith of Lebanon, Michael Rogers (Regina) of Decherd, Randy Smith of Tullahoma, and Shelby Stafford Smith of Winchester; and a host of great-grandchildren. Funeral Arrangements are pending.
