Doris Bailey “Doris Day” Goldsmith, age 82, of Sipsey, AL, formerly of Hammond, IN, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Bennett Cemetery. Greg Wood will officiate.
Mrs. Goldsmith was preceded in death by her Father-Milton Bailey; Mother-Ola Jane Phillips Bailey; Husband-James Oliver Goldsmith; Son-in-law-Tim Burt.
She is survived by her Daughters-Linda Girup (Glenn) and Carol Burt; Sons-Tom (Linda), John (Judy) and James David (Mali); 8 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren.
