Logo Icon  Doris Ann Malone was born March 22, 1953 to her parents the late EJ and Edna Earl Massey Taylor and went home to be with the Lord Saturday afternoon October 3, 2026, at the age of 73.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Cindy Armour and infant daughter, Dana Michelle Malone; two brothers, Kenneth Taylor and Austin Taylor.  Doris was a faithful member of the Helton Creek The Baptist Church.  She worked as a waitress and cook in restaurant business for many years.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 55 years, Wayne Malone of Dowelltown; son, Andy (Heather) Malone of Coalmont; son-in-law, John (Bobbie Jo) Armour of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Brittney (Nathan) Gard, Nathan Armour (Lori Gallaher) and Kelley (Dakota) Foster; great-grandchildren, Makenlee Gard, Logan Gard, Aubrey Foster, Klara Armour, Kaydence Foster, Khloee Armour, Reese Gard, Tristan Baynes and Kayti Gallaher; sister, Betty Cooper of Alexandria and brother, Bobby Taylor of Smithville; fur babies, Buddy and Buster and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday, October 6, 2026, with Bro. Barry Whiteaker officiating and burial will follow in Whorton Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Monday 3 PM until 8 PM and Tuesday 10 AM until the time of the service at 2 PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Malone Family.
