Funeral service for Dorethea Denise Allen of Athens, Alabama, will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Grove CME Church (11460 Cowford Rd, Athens, AL 35611) with Rev. Dr. Shirley Fletcher as eulogist. The body will lie in state from 12:00 noon until funeral time. Interment and committal will be at the Thatch-Mann cemetery.
Public visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. at the Peoples Funeral Home.
