Dora Bingham age 78 passed away in Red Bay, Alabama peacefully while holding both her sons’ hands at the moment of passing. She was born on March 27, 1948, in Sugar Land Texas. Dora who preferred to be called Dee was a ray of light for so many people. She had a gift for listening, understanding, and helping others regardless of the time required or the cost. Dee was exceptional at many things. She was an avid gardener. Local magazines frequently published her gardens. She was an amazing cook, whose talents always shone come the holidays. She was an amazing organizer which helped her career in administration and also her boys keep up with important documents. In her spare time she was a poet, your poems will always be with us, Mom. But most of all she was an amazing mother. There were no boundaries for her love of her children which included their close friends. We think she wrote the book on what it means to be the perfect mother. If she did not write it, she at least took time to read it. Mom traveled and lived many different places Alabama, Texas, California, as well as internationally Panama and Colombia. Everywhere she stopped she made friends and left lasting impressions on many. Mom, heaven is just the next destination for you to spread love, kindness, and compassion. Dora Bingham the worlds greatest mom and the worlds greatest friend to so many along the way. We all love you now and forever. Dora left behind: Her sons; Greg Stewart, Scott Stewart, Todd Scott. Her sister, Mary Hickman, her brother Ray Losey and her cousins Carol Ann Sutton and Kay Spencer. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Amedisys Hospice where every nurse and caregiver showed loving care, compassion, and professionalism. Thank you for your service and assistance.
