SHEFFIELD-The Sheffield Police Department and Certified Alarm Company warn residents of a door-to-door scam going on in Sheffield. A man is going door-to-door in Sheffield neighborhoods claiming to be an employee of Certified alarm.
The man who is posing as an employee of Certified Alarm is trying to entice customers into switching their alarms. According to Certified Alarm Company this man is not affiliated with them. Certified Alarm never solicits business by going door-to-door.
Sheffield Police and Certified Alarm Company are asking residents to keep an eye out for this man, warn your neighbors and if he knocks at,your door, call the Sheffield Police Department at 256.383.1771.
