Donnie Wilburn Handley Jr., 79, of Carbon Hill, passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at Ridgewood Health Care Center in Jasper.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, from until 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor, with funeral services following at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at Pisgah Baptist Church in Sipsey. Wayne Williams will officiate.
Mr. Handley was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Wilburn Handley Sr.; mother, Lorene Roberts Handley; son, Andy Jermone Handley; sister, Sandra Faye Handley; brother-in-law-Raymond Perry Mathews.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Pannell Nunn of Albertville; son, Joey Terrell Handley (Lynne Black) of Carbon Hill; sister, Carol Ann Mathews of Jasper; brothers, Ronnie Gerald Handley (Betty Jo) of Sipsey and Larry Gene Handley of Center Point; grandchildren, Brandon Matthew Handley of Jasper, Nicholas Freeman Handley (Miranda Shae Handley) of Carbon Hill, Joy Hilda Handley of Mt. Olive, Destin Higginbothan and Cole Higginbothan of Albertville; and great-grandchildren, Bayleigh Handley of Jasper, Kinslee Handley, Bryson Handley, Lainee Handley, Brylee Handley, Khaliecee Handley and Livee Handley of Carbon Hill.
