Donnie-Cox-1448555597Donnie Wayne (Silver Dollar) Cox passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at St. Thomas West in Nashville. He was born in Lawrence County and was 64 years old. He was retired from ICP and was also a truck driver. Donnie went to school in Lawrenceburg. He was a member of the House on the Rock Church in Pulaski.
Visitation will be 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock Friday, November 27, 2015, at Bennett-May- Giles County Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 11 o’clock Saturday, November 28, 2015, in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. David Malone officiating.
Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery in Lawrence County.

He was preceded in death by his son Wayne Cox along with his parents Bertus Critlin (BC) and Ruby Littrell Cox.
He is survived by his wife Catherine Ledford Cox of Pulaski.
Daughter Priscilla (Anthony) Wallace of Pulaski.
Brother Jackie (Glenda) Cox of Lawrenceburg.
Sisters; Juanita (Charles) Thigpen of Lawrenceburg.
Carol Gannon and Bobby Franklin of Columbia.
Sue (J. W.) Smith of Columbia.
Step-sons – Michael (Stephanie) Mayberry and Jonathan Mayberry of Columbia.
Granddaughters – Gracie, Shelby, and Annabelle of Pulaski.
Step-Grandchildren Blake, Tyler, Jacob, and Amber of Columbia.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Donnie Wayne Cox.
