Donnie Maxwell Profile PhotoFuneral services for Donnie Ray Maxwell, 76 of Corinth, formerly of Munford, TN., are set for Sunday, June 15, 2025 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST with interment in Gentry Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 15, 2025 from 1pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST. Bro. Mark Gillespie will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Alex Wooten, Brandon Stimpson, Evan Raisbeck, John Turner, Kenny Stimpson and Steve Pierson. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Pugh, Dennie Neagle and Larry Justice. Donnie Ray is a beloved brother, friends, and faithful servant of the Lord. He lived a life filled with music, devotion and love. He was a gifted musician and founding member of a band formed with his brother and close friends. Together, they traveled all over the country, sharing their passion for music. Donnie was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church- Munford, where he served faithfully in many roles over the years, most notably as music director. He used his life as a ministry and was always spreading God’s word. He deeply cherished his family and friends, always ready with a smile, a kind word or song. Donnie had a quick wit and a storytellers charm, he never passed up a chance to share a funny story or silly joke, he always had a way to brighten up your day. Donnie legacy of faith, music, humor and kindness will live on in all who knew him. He is survived by his daughter, Dana Maxwell; granddaughter, Jana Maxwell; brothers, Donald Materna and Mickie Materna; sisters, Phyllis Raisbeck, Joyce Sowell and Dorothy Myers; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Maxwell; mother, Fannie L. Materna; and his brothers, Raymond Layfoia Maxwell and John Materna. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Donnie Ray Maxwell.
