Donna Stephanie Brail, 78, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on July 7, 2025, at North Alabama Specialty Hospital in Huntsville.
A Mass of Christian Burial Funeral service will be held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. CDT with Reverend Katie Kirk of St. Thomas’s Episcopal church officiating. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will be handling the cremation arrangements.
Donna was born in Philadelphia, PA to Stephen Brail and Olga Brail (nee Tura) on February 9, 1947. She attended high school in Oaklyn, NJ. She went on to study Communications at Temple University and Radiology at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (PCPS), and eventually earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). She enjoyed and was an active member of the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church Community.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Kacey) Kilroy of Gloucester City, NJ; granddaughter, Crystal Hemphill of Malaga, NJ; great-grandson, Reese Martin of Malaga, NJ; grandson, Alexzander Kilroy of Gloucester City, NJ; son, Chris Kilroy of Toney, AL; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Kilroy of Toney, AL; grandson, Jonathan Kilroy of Boston, MA; and granddaughter, Alyssa Kilroy, of Louisville, KY. She is preceded in death by her mother, Olga Brail (nee Tura); father, Stephen Brail; and sister, Linda Kayaalp.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, St. Thomas’s Episcopal Church, and St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church.
