donnaDonna R. MacMillen
February 18, 1935 – December 21, 2015

Donna returned home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 21st, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer in Huntsville, AL.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale; her mother, Irene Smith; her father, Weldon; and her sister, Dolores Thomas. Donna is survived by her niece, Linda Snyder, and Linda’s husband, Jay, of Huntsville; and her niece Leslie Weaver, Leslie’s husband, Carl, and their daughter Tegan, of Melbourne, FL. She had no children. Donna wanted to give her heartfelt thanks to her cherished friends, Charlene Snyder, Beatrice Swogger, Cindy Jean, and her doctor, Kelly Lynn, in her obituary for their love and support.

For years, Donna owned the Tall Elegance dress shop in Pensacola, FL. Her shop was the only one in Pensacola that catered to tall women. Donna was bright and confident – the kind of person people paid attention to. She sold her clothes the same way. She was profiled in the business section of the Pensacola News on March 25, 1991.

Donna was absolutely fascinated by antiques, and would spend hours telling her friends and relatives the stories behind each and every antique she and Dale owned.

Donna will be sorely missed by all of her relatives and friends, and will always be remembered by them.
