Donna “Mama Kay” Holt Miller, 67 of Athens, passed away on Monday, November 13th, 2023, at her residence. Mrs. Miller was born on March 27th, 1956, in Athens, to Sidney and Martha Faye Willis Holt.
“Mama Kay” Miller is preceded in death by her parents Sidney and Faye Holt; son Jeremy Miller; younger brother Ray Holt; grandparents Raymond and Jessie Willis, and Bob and Ann Holt; brother-in-law Gene “Chief” Miller; sister-in-law Patricia “Mickey” St. Johns; and many aunts, uncles, and beloved cousins.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dannie Miller; daughters Jessica Miller and Dana Craig; her grandbabies, whom she loved so dearly, Jacob Speer, Sydney Speer, Ethan Craig, and Payton Craig; great-grandbabies Reece and Kensley Speer; special granddaughter Allison Greene; sisters Jan Adams and Kim Dean (Donnie); brother Reggie Holt; many brothers and sisters-in-law; and so very many nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Miller will be Wednesday, November 15th, 2023, at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:30-1:45 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hodges Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Speer, Donnie Dean, Josh Kennedy, Eli Adams, Darren Newsom, Hayden Huseth, Matthew Newsom, and Justin Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be Reece Speer, Ethan Craig, Ethan Adams, Holt Kennedy, Jackson Layton, and Jason Layton.
