Donna Lynn Blume, age 52, passed away on February 10, 2026, at Shepherd’s Cove. She was the loving mother of her only daughter, MaKayla Lynn Barrett.
Born in Chicago, Donna was the daughter of Willard Blume and the late Lou Blume, and sister to Barbara Ellen Blume-Cupp and Sarah Edna Blume.
Donna touched numerous lives through her kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother, and grandmother who placed her family and friends above all else. Always selfless and dependable, Donna was the kind of person you could call at any hour, and she would be there without hesitation, offering comfort, strength, and love no matter the circumstances.
She is survived by her daughter, MaKayla (Carson) Barrett; father, Willard (Sue) Blume; sisters, Barbara (Thomas) Blume-Cupp and Sarah Blume; grandchildren, Alexandria Barrett and Carwyn Barrett; nieces, Tiffany Herron and Samantha Sims; and great-nieces and nephews, Austin Blume, Issac (Desi) Blume, Kadence Provens, TaCari Lansden, TaLeia Lansden, Elliot Stewart, and Briseis Stewart.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Lou Ellen Blume and nephew Troy Waldon Blume.
Visitation will be held at Albertville Memorial Chapel on February 14, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. for family and from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for friends. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Bro. Mark Adams will officiate her service. She will be laid to rest at Memory Hill Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Donna’s honor to Second Chance Animal Shelter.
