Mrs. Donna Lee Stebbins, age 87, of Arab, Alabama passed away at Marshall Medical Center North on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Donna was born July 22, 1936 in California to John Walter Wilson and Elizabeth Brumm Wilson. She and Bill Wade Stebbins were married for over 69 years. She and Bill have been long time residence of Arab after relocating from California and are members of the Arab Wesleyan Church.
She was a homemaker who took great pride in maintaining her home. She was an extremely talented and creative artist. Not only did Donna paint beautiful paintings, she also created wonderful ceramic pieces. She shared her love and knowledge of artistry and creativity by teaching classes to any and all who showed an interest. Donna also had an interest in antiques and spent many hours attending antique auctions. Donna had an adventurous side as well and loved traveling. She has visited over 40 of the continental United States.
Family members Donna leaves behind to cherish memories are her husband, Bill W. Stebbins; grandchildren, David Stebbins and Matthew Stebbins; and 6 great grandchildren; and her brother, Gregory Wilson.
In addition to her parents, preceding Donna in death is her son, Jeffery Wade Stebbins.
Donna will be laid to rest in Arab Memorial Cemetery. Services will be graveside on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Nicky James will officiate. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is more than honored to serve the family.
