Donna Jo Posey Eaves was a lifelong resident of Limestone County. She died unexpectedly on Friday, August 6, 2021, at the age of 38. Donna Jo is survived by her children, Maleah, and Jackson Eaves; father, Greg Posey; grandmother, Marjorie Hargrove; brothers, David, and Chad Posey; niece, Braylee Posey; aunt, Lynn Hargrove Pylant; many cousins; and her boyfriend, Rashad Newby.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Donna June Posey; and her grandfather, Howard Hargrove.
Donna Jo was born on November 13, 1982, in Athens, Alabama. She was a 2001 graduate of Ardmore High School and a great softball player.
She never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
A visitation will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, August 9, 2021, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The Funeral service will be at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Sardis Springs Baptist Cemetery, Athens, Alabama.
