Donna Jo Cordell age 60 of Dora, went home to be with the Lord on Friday August 5, 2016 at her residence. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Cordova; she was employed as a Client Service Specialist at Regions Financial Corporation.
Funeral services will be Tuesday August 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Bro. Dustin Murray and Bro. Shane Russell will officiate. Burial will follow at Dilworth Church of God Cemetery. Visitation is Monday night 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Lee Smith and Dolores June Smith; and grandparents, Vernie and Maggie Smith and Tally and Angie Roper.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Adrion “Kip” Cordell, Jr.; sister, Lisa Harper and husband Roger; nephew, Austin Harper; other relatives and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Ray Madison, Bob Cain, Gary Key, Russell Courington, Landon Key and Kolby Russell.
