It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Hudson, who was called to her heavenly home on January 26, 2025, at the age of 68. Donna lived a life dedicated to faith, love, and service, that will be remembered by all who knew her.
Born on February 15, 1956, in Ashland AL Donna found a calling in her devotion to her faith in Jesus Christ. She was an active and cherished member of Bellview Baptist Church for many years, she spent many hours praying, volunteering, and spreading the message of love and compassion.
Funeral services for Donna will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11:00 am at Bellview Baptist Church, with Bro. John Howell and Bro. Sonny McCollum officiating. The Burial will immediately follow at Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 5:30-7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025.
Donna’s kindness, and her actions were a testament to her belief in the power of faith and generosity. She often offered comfort and support to those in need, and her presence was an inspiration for many who knew her.
Donna is survived by her brother Grady (Mac) Hudson of Melbourne FL, and sister Dana Hudson of Heflin AL. Although Donna has departed from this world, her spirit will forever remain in their hearts, inspiring them to live with purpose and faith.
In addition to her parents James Hudson and Nell McDonald Hudson, Donna was preceded in death by her sisters Hope Davidson, Holly Johnson, and Kathy Rice.
The Pallbearers will be Matt Hudson, Brandon Davidson, Tim Mathews, Chris Mathews, John McDonald and Mac Hudson.
