A Celebration of Life service for Donna Hopper Prather, 66 of Corinth, MS, will be Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 3:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Dogwood Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service. Mrs. Prather passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at Whitfield Nursing Home in Corinth, MS. She was born August 10, 1951 in Corinth, MS to Randus Hopper and Bessie Brown Hopper. She was a factory worker and was a Baptist by faith. Donna is survived by her son, Roger Prather of Corinth, MS; her granddaughter, Nancy Elizabeth Marie Prather; her sisters, Margaret Wilbanks and husband Jackie of Corinth, MS and Christy Dunn of Corinth, MS; uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jimmy” Prather; her father Randus Hopper; her mother, Bessie Brown Gann and her brother, Johnny Harold Gann. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Donna Hopper Prather.
