Donna Gayle Clifft, age 71, of Etheridge, Tennessee, passed away on August 19, 2026.
Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her children, Cody Holt (Jennifer) of Hohenwald, Tennessee, and Cassie Seale (Ryan) of Etheridge, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her best friend and companion of 43 years, Joe Holt of Collinwood, Tennessee; and her sisters, Betty Shultz, Wanda Bennett, and Pam Peters. She also leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Womble and Opal Manning; and her siblings, Kenneth Womble, Johnny Womble, Joyce Womble, and Helen Gwen.
Donna enjoyed yard sales, shopping, and playing cards with her sisters. She cherished time spent with her family and loved cooking and baking for those she loved. Donna was known for her loving, kind, and giving heart, always willing to share what she had with others. She loved being in church, and her faith remained steady throughout her battle with cancer.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood. Stacy Holt will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens.
