Graveside services for Donna Garvin, age 73, of Delta, will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the Union D. Cemetery, with Rev. Clay Lovelady officiating.
Ms. Garvin passed away March 22, 2025 at the Brookwood Baptist Medical Center; she was born in Clay County, but grew up in Michigan, living in Pontiac, Milford, and Howell before returning to Clay County in 1991. She was a homemaker, enjoyed working in the garden and with her flowers, spending time with her children and great-grandchildren. She was truly a selfless woman always try to take care of others before worrying about herself.
She is survived by her daughter; Amanda Garvin of Delta, her two sons; Jason Garvin (Rebecca) of Montgomery, Texas and Marty Garvin (Sarah) of Anniston, five grandchildren; Cheyenne Garvin, Katie Garvin, Victoria Cheyney, Ashley Brooks, and Hagan Mullins two great-grandchildren; Teddy Germany and Presleigh Cheyney, and her sister: Diane Jones (Don) of Whitmore Lake, MI, plus a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Armen Marty Papazian and Elva Louise Parker Papazian, her husband; Douglas Garvin, and her brother Jack Papazian.
Pallbearers will be Steve Cotton, Andy Cotton, Terry Daugherty, Keith Bean, Marty Garvin and Jason Garvin.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville on Friday March 28, 2025 from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M.
