Donna Gail Reeves, age 72 of Muscle Shoals, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 03, 2017. Visitation will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 1-3 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Eric Taylor and Ronny Poag officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Donna was a Colbert county native and a member of Lee Heights Baptist Church where she was a member of Steel Magnolias Life Group. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her greatest joy was her family. She was a graduate of Sheffield High School and was preceded in death by her parents, George and Jimmie Matthews and sister Ann Basden.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-two years, T. Michael Reeves, son, Michael David Reeves and wife Kristy, daughter, Leesa Reeves Poag and husband Ronny, brother, George Manuel “Bud” Matthews, grandchildren, Trace, Christian, Aubree, Brooke, Tyler and Makenzie.
Pallbearers are Christian Poag, Trace Reeves, Barry Basden, Brett Basden, Bill Reeves and Chris Reeves.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America @alzfdn.org.
