Memorial service for Donald Van Green, age 61, of Decatur, will be Sunday, April 14, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.
Mr. Green, who died Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Huntsville Hospital, was born September 18, 1957, in Sylacauga to Robert Eugene Green and Annie Ruth Wallis Green. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Brian Green; and one sister, Janice Cosper. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, and worked as a mechanic for Filtech-Woodland HVAC services.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Jones Green of Decatur; daughter, Stephanie Martin (Wesley) of Owens Cross Roads; one brother, Wayne Green of FL; one sister, Brenda Williamson of Sylacauga; and four granddaughters.
