Donald T. Comer, 80, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Mr. Comer was born in Akron, Ohio to Clyde T. Comer and Dorothy Gail Comer. They moved to Tuscaloosa in 1946. He graduated from the University of Alabama where he earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. He went to work at Boeing and retired from Chrysler. He loved cars and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include brother, Roger C. Comer (Betty); nephew, Alan R. Comer (Melanie); and great nieces and nephews, Nolan A., Mari Margaret, and James A. Comer.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Seanor officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
