Mr. Donald Ross Cooper, age 62, a resident of Summertown, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 5:30 – 9:00 PM at the Providence Hall in Lawrenceburg. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
Don was born on June 20, 1959, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and was the son of Dot Henson Cooper and the late Harlan Copelan Cooper. A great sense of humor, Don was a history buff who often enjoyed reading, collecting watches, and listening to good music.
In addition to his mother, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Lindsey (Heath) Parson of Summertown, TN, Kelly (Ben) Markus of Lawrenceburg, TN, brothers, Brian (Diana) Cooper of Spring Hill, TN, Richard Cooper of Georgia, Doyle (Jennifer) Cooper of Lawrenceburg, TN, former wife and friend, Janice Petty of Dickson, TN, and grandchildren, Luci Parson, Clint Parson, Naomi Markus, Beau Markus, and Cort Markus.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Daryl Cooper.
