Donald Raymond Smith, 70, of Harvest, passed away Wednesday. Mr. Smith was a US Army veteran, employed in electronic sales, and a member of University Baptist Church.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 50 years: Shirley Carole Smith; daughter: Melanie (Chris) Newby; son: Jason A. (Holly Rigdon) Smith; three brothers: Phillip Fitzgerald, Robin Smith, and Pat Smith; and two grandchildren: Johnathan Newby and Ashlynn Newby. He was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle: June and Harvey Fitzgerald.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Keith Crouch officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
