Donald Ray Warren, Sr.Donald Ray Warren, Sr., 69, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at his home in Pontotoc. Born and raised in Pontotoc, MS, he spent much of his life in the Chicagoland area, mainly in Lansing, IL, where he raised his two sons. Don had a passion for NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, and was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Ole Miss football. He enjoyed antiques and cherished time with family, often gathering at the Greek Islands Restaurant in Chicago. He worked as a foreman at General Iron in Chicago and was recognized as a million-mile Truck Driver of the Year.

Don is survived by his mother, Argie Bramlett Warren; his brother, Malvin Warren; his two sons, Andrew and Donnie Warren; his nephew, Joshua Warren; his dear friend, Jean Bryant; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Warren; his niece, Angela Warren; his dear friend, Linda Dotson; and several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service is set for Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with Bro. Pete Gregory officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the service begins. Burial will take place at Sand Springs Cemetery in Hurricane, MS.

The pallbearers will be Andrew Warren, Donald Warren Jr., Joshua Warren, Bill Shiffer, Landen Walls, and Brian Walls.
