Donald Ray Gentle, 64 of Arab passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at his residence. Donald was born July 7, 1958, in Madison County the son of Cecil Lee Gentle and Virginia Pauline Ikard Gentle. He served his county with honor and courage in the US Army and was an over the road truck driver.
He is survived by his daughter: Amanda Nicole Gentle Graham (Nigel), sisters: Connie Ferguson (Henry) and Paulette White (Rodney), brother: Ronnie Gentle (Kay), Grandchildren: Nigel, Jr, Kamarly and Kingston, host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Cecil Lee Gentle, Virginia Pauline Gentle Rose and Robert Rose, brother: Dexter Lee Gentle, nephew: Steve Anderson, Jr.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Rodney White officiating. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery at Owen’s Cross Roads. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers: Lynn Boyd, Zack Boyd, Jonathan McClusky, Matt Miller, Zach Gentle, Mike Boyd, Rodney White and Stan Partington.
