Donald Ray Andrews, age 86 of Muscle Shoals, passed away on August 20, 2026. The visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. The service will follow in the chapel at 11:0 0 a.m. with Bro. Barrett Long speaking at the service. The burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Tuscumbia.
Don proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired federal police Captain with TVA. He was a member of Tuscumbia First Methodist Church, past president of FOP Lodge 5, and Vertagreen Masonic Lodge # 919 of Cherokee.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Andrews; daughter, Delaina Lyn Andrews; stepchildren, Kathy Stockton, Freddie McDonald; grandchildren, Molly Littrell (Vince), Laura Johnson (AJ); special grandchildren, Anna Grace Morrow, Aaron Morrow; great-grandchildren, Rileigh Grace Littrell, Cameron Littrell; Beckham Ray Littrell; and loyal friend, Johnny Morrow.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Ann Andrews; and parents, Albert Lee & Hazel Louise (Malone) Andrews.
The pallbearers will be Kirk Jones, James McIntyre, Johnny White, Frank Anderson, Ken Davis, and Johnny Morrow.
The family expresses a special thank you to Preferred Hospice, especially Amanda Jeffreys, and the First Methodist Church of Tuscumbia Sunday School class.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to the Wounded Warriors Project.
