Donald O’Neal Steele, 82, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Russellville Health Care.
Mr. Steele was a native of Franklin County, Alabama and was self-employed as a logger and carpenter.
The funeral service will be today at 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Russellville. Officiating will be Brother John Barton and Brother Hershel Quinn. The family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 3, 2016, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Survivors include children Donald Gene Steele, Michael Wade Steele (Andrea), Mary Elizabeth Steele, and Ann Copeland (James); four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mary Lou Horton Steele; wife, Dorothy Jean McGregor Steele; and brother, Billy John Steele.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
